Please read carefully before use.
By using the site, you accept these terms and agree to obey them. If you don’t accept them, please don’t use the site.

Panoptic Legal Disclosures
Panoptic Legal Ltd is a legal consultancy firm, and not a regulated law firm. This is because Panoptic Legal Ltd provides services that are not ‘reserved legal activities matters’, as defined in section 12 of the Legal Services Act 2007. However, every member of staff providing legal consultancy services to you is a qualified solicitor in his or her own right, and each solicitor s authorised and regulated by an appropriate regulator in the jurisdiction in which he or she is qualified.
By using our site, reviewing content or otherwise interacting with us online, you understand and acknowledge that there is no solicitor-client relationship created. You also understand and acknowledge that no solicitor-client relationship is created by the mere purchase of online products. Solicitor-client relationships can only be formed after you have received our terms of service, and we have agreed to act for you for specific legal services.
The site cannot provide individual legal advice, opinions or recommendations. You should not act or refrain from acting on the basis of information included on our site or otherwise contained in our content, without first consulting us or another solicitor that is licensed in the relevant jurisdiction.

Use of our Site
The information contained on our site is not directed to, nor intended for, distribution or use by any person or entity in any jurisdiction where the publication or availability of this site, or such distribution or use, would be contrary to local laws or regulation. We are not liable for any technical errors, maintenance, work, damage, wrongful use, unauthorised access to the site, or any content you upload to the site.

We do not warranty that the way in which we deliver data to you is compatible with your software. We do our best to protect the site, but are not responsible for bugs, viruses etc., and are not liable for damage or loss caused by a virus, distributed denial of service attack or other technologically harmful material that may infect your computer equipment, computer programmes, data or other proprietary material due to your use of our site, downloading any content from it or using any website linked to it.
We do not warrant that your use of the site will be uninterrupted. We are not responsible for any loss or damage suffered as a result of any interruptions or errors, and you acknowledge that the site may be subject to limitations, delays or other issues.
We do our best to provide the most accurate information possible. However, we cannot ensure that our site is completely error free, or that it will not become outdated. Therefore, we do not provide any warranty or other assurances as to the completeness, accuracy, timeliness or fitness for particular purposes of any of the content or materials contained within the site.
We are also not liable for any third-party content on the site, and do not endorse what this content may contain.
These terms and conditions remain effective so long as you use the site.
Intellectual Property Rights
We are the owner or licensee of all intellectual property rights in the site (for example the copyright and any rights in the designs) and in any of the material posted on it. They are protected by copyright.
You are allowed to print one copy and download extracts of any page on the site for your personal reference, but not for commercial use without a licence from us. You must not alter anything, or use any illustrations, video, audio or photographs separately from the text that goes with them. You must not change, copy, reproduce or translate anything on the site without our consent. You are not permitted to license, sell, rent, lease, transfer, assign, distribute, exploit or otherwise make any documents or online resources from the site available to any third party.
If you breach these terms, you lose your right to use our site, and must destroy or return any copies you have made.
Our Legal Responsibility to You
As far as legally possible, we exclude legal responsibility for loss of income, profit, business, data, contracts, goodwill or savings, or any other indirect, consequential or special loss.
We also exclude, as far as legally possible, all terms and warranties or promises implied by law or by statutes.
We don’t exclude legal responsibility for death or personal injury owing to our negligence, or legal responsibility for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for anything else where exclusion is not allowed by the law.
Any duty of care we owe to you is owed only to you, and not to any third parties.
We are not tax advisers, and do not hold ourselves out as such. Any information provided on tax is based on personal opinion, and should be clarified with an accountant prior to implementation.
Uploading to our Site
Material that you upload will be regarded as non-confidential and not owned. This means that we can copy it, distribute it, and show it to other people for any purpose. You agree that if anyone else claims to own the material, or says that it breaches their rights, we can give them your identity.
We won’t be legally responsible to anybody for the accuracy of material that you upload to the site, and we can remove it at any time.
If you do anything which is a criminal offence under a law called the Computer Misuse Act 1990, your right to use the site will end straightaway. We will report you to the relevant authorities and give them your identity.
Examples of computer misuse include introducing viruses, worms, Trojans and other technologically harmful or damaging material.
You mustn’t try to get access to our site or server or any connected database or make any ‘attack’ on the site. We won’t be legally responsible to you for any damage from viruses or other harmful material that you pick up via our site.
Links to Our Site
You are allowed to make a link to our website’s homepage from your website provided the content on your site meets our standards, it is done so fairly and legally, and does not damage our reputation or take advantage of it. We can end this permission at any time.
You must not suggest any endorsement by us or association with us unless we agree in writing.
Links From Our Site
Links from our site to other websites are for information only. We don’t control them and don’t accept responsibility for other websites or any materials found upon them or any loss you suffer from using them.
We change these terms from time to time and you must check them for changes because they are binding on you.
These terms are our entire agreement. No previous statements or representations that we have made to you form part of these terms unless they are written into it. This includes, but is not limited to, information included on webinars, social media or discussed on sales calls.
If any provision of these terms is held to be illegal, invalid, or unenforceable in whole or in part, such provision or part of it shall be deemed not to form part of these terms, and the legality, validity and enforceability of the remaining terms shall not be affected.
The parties will use their best efforts to negotiate in good faith and settle any dispute that may arise out of or relate to this Agreement or any breach of it.
Any dispute shall not affect the parties’ ongoing obligations under the Agreement.
The English courts have the only right to hear claims related to our site, and all disputes are governed (including regarding non-contractual obligations) by English law.
